Our Story
Adon Renewables is a Hawaiʻi based, innovative renewable energy technology firm focusing on tailored direct current technologies such as safe and long-life energy storage solutions and ultra efficient solar heat pumps for commercial and industrial clients.
Nestled in the heart of Hawaiʻi, Adon was first founded in 1979 as Adon Construction Inc and started commercial solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services in 2007. We founded Green Vision LLC in the following year as a vehicle to finance renewable energy projects. In 2015, The firm pivoted to direct current (DC) technology and microgrid development and became Adon Renewables. We now specialize in crafting utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar microgrids.
Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Incorporated (TEPCO), one of the largest power utilities in the world, made a significant investment in our firm in 2018. TEPCO’s support helps to accelerate our direct current technology and microgrid project development.
